About Isabel Fernández
I am a lawyer qualified in two countries, Spain and Colombia, and I have been practising since 2009. My work is immigration and nationality law, together with civil liability and claims against the Public Administration. I see clients in person at my office in Barcelona's Eixample and online, in English and Spanish.
Why two law degrees
I studied Law in Colombia and again in Spain, and I mean it when I say that the second time was a vocation. That double training is what my clients feel in practice: I understand the documents, institutions and expectations of the country you come from, and I know how the Spanish Administration reads them. Many of my clients are Latin American, but I also work regularly with clients from the United Kingdom, the United States and other English-speaking countries who are building a life in Barcelona.
How I work
Every file gets a strategy, not improvisation. The first consultation lasts 40 minutes and ends with a clear answer: which route fits you, which documents you need and in what order, and what it will cost, in writing. If a case is not viable, I tell you so. I do not promise results; I prepare files that can be defended.
